Jack and I just got back from yard work. It took the whole day! It took a full trailer load to take away all the clipping and pruning we did. We had lunch at the Horsin' Around Deli and Russ met us there. We were just about through when we got busted by......
Jodie and Bridget who were on the way to volunteer at the ECHO Farm and Nursery. Its a very cool place. Bridget should earn a Daisy Scout Petal for "Making the World a Better Place".
Now the Dale family is enroute to MeMe and Papa's for dinner.

Dinner at Grandpa's

The kids had a great time at the beach in Venice and found lots of shells. No sunburn, thankfully. Jodie and I shopped and even found some long pants that might fit Jack "Slim".
I BBQ'ed salmon and Jodie had a fantastic vegetable sauté of fresh green beans, asparagus,and zucchini. She also cooked some small yellow potatoes in some olive oil. Everything light, fresh, and organic - California style!
That's how we roll!

Jack and Bridget spent the night with Meme and Papa. They are are going to the beach at Englewood or Venice (Florida not Italy!)
Venice Beach, Fl is the prehistoric sharks tooth capital of the world. Millions of them are on the beach just waiting for little kids to scoop them up!

Grandpa has yard duty and Grandma is at work. So, while the mice are away, Jodie and I will play! Yes, you guessed it.....Shopping! Hey, they got only 6% sales tax, so its like everything starts out at a 4% discount. Plus, everything is less expensive out here. Anyone need anything we can bring back for ya?
